We have recently installed a Deckel Maho DMU 50, 5 Axis CNC Machining Centre.

This machine has a 500mm diameter Rotary table and tilting bed (-5 to +90 degrees). This means we can machine 5 out of the 6 faces of a cube in one setup, (and anywhere in between).

Ideal for very complex machining requirements or components with compound angles, the DMU50  offers complete machining that can be carried out in as few as 2 operations, giving enhanced geometrical accuracy.

The reduction in set ups and in overall machining time on the more complex components, offers cost savings by reduced tooling and fixturing costs.
This means that Payne Plastics can now offer you even better precision and efficiency on the most complex of milled components.
